where to buy Quickcrete Maximum Yield?

My dad was talking about this Quickcrete Maximum Yield stuff that seems like it's a real gamechanger with that 67% higher volume and 5,500 psi strength.

Looks like Sakrete Maximizer is cut from the same cloth, too.

But here's the rub: neither of them is sold in Chicago! That really gets my goat. Is it a climate thing? And does it finish up the same as regular concrete, or is it a whole different kettle of fish?

Has anyone here actually taken it for a spin? Please tell me where to get this Quickcrete Maximum Yield

Yeah, that's frustrating, makes you wonder if it's a distribution or curing issue in colder regions like Chicago, do you know if it handles freeze-thaw cycles as well as standard mixes?

ikr! my dad said the other day that concrete mixes like Quikrete 5000 and Sakrete Maximizer are actually better for freeze thaw cycles than standard concrete because they gain strength much faster and are often air entrained, which prevents freeze damage.
I think their limited availability in Chicago is likely due to regional distribution or retailer stocking decisions

Hey, are you still looking to purchase Quikrete? I saw it's available on White Cap! For building materials, sometimes I also get lucky when I check local suppliers rather than the big box stores. Might also be worth a look for you!
