Anyone tried Total Wall Care Tint?

I'm a homeowner trying to fix some old bricks on my porch. I joined the forum to get help from people who know more than I do.

I'm trying to make the new mortar patches look like the old ones. Right now, the color doesn't match and it looks messy. I found this product called Total Wall Care Mortar Tint that says it can help by adding color with a brush. It sounds good, but I haven't seen any reviews or comments about it.

Has anyone here tried something like this? Or do you know a better way to match old mortar color? Thankful for any advice before I give it a shot.

Tint works pretty well, go light and build up the color slowly, it blends in nicer that way.

I patched up my 1950s porch last year and ended up with mortar that looked like it came from a different planet. I tried Total Wall Care Mortar Tint, and yep, it actually worked! I tested a few colors (Smoke and Light Khaki were close), and mixing them gave me a pretty solid match.
