Looking for recommendations for a good polymeric sand . Not afraid to pay more for a better product.
Good to see someone not trying to cut corners on the jointing sand! I agree with the suggestions here about Aliance Gator G2. They're a go-to for many pros. Other popular options are Techniseal and NextGel. Both are known for their durability and for being less prone to haze and washout than the big-box store brands. The key is to buy from a reputable masonry or hardscape supply house, not a general home improvement store. You'll get better product consistency and often better advice!Looking for recommendations for a good polymeric sand . Not afraid to pay more for a better product.
Thanks for this! Which one holds up better in rainy weather between Gator Maxx G2 and Dominator? And does Rhino Power Bond Plus really set that fast? Thanks again! If you want a quality polymeric sand and dont mind paying a bit more, some good options are.. yeah Gator Maxx G2 (quick-setting, dust-free, good for patios and driveways), Black Diamond Dominator and Rhino Power Bond Plus (commercial-grade, very durable, great for high-traffic areas). Pick based on your joint size, surface type and how much foot or vehicle traffic the area gets.
