Repairing corner of cracked foundation

I've got a corner of my foundation that's starting to show some cracks and minor crumbling, and I'm hoping to repair it without making things worse, how do you chip out the damaged area and rebuild it with fresh concrete or mortar, or is there a patching product that can save me the stress?
I would also appreciate any tips on reinforcing the corner in a neat way

Chip it out until you're at solid material, don't just skim over it. I usually drill in a couple short pieces of rebar across the crack before packing in fresh mix. Keeps the corner from breaking again. It's a little more work but you won't be re-doing it next year.

yeah, the key is to get all the loose stuff out first. Use a hammer and chisel to chip away any damaged, weak concrete until you hit solid material.
Make sure the area is clean and dust free. Then, you can use a high strength patching mortar.
Mix it up thick and use a small trowel to press it firmly into the damaged area. For a neat finish, you can build a small wooden form to hold the shape of the corner as it dries

I agree with the suggestions here. For that non-structural corner, the key is controlled removal. And just to build on what they said, undercut the edges slightly if you can to help the patch lock in. Clean out all debris, then thoroughly wet the area. Patch with a polymer-modified structural repair mortar or hydraulic cement, not a regular mortar. Then for neat reinforcement, drill a couple of small holes into the existing foundation and secure short pieces of galvanized steel mesh or rebar pins with epoxy before applying your new material. This ties the repair into the base. Also take your time shaping the corner with a trowel for a clean finish!

The best thing you can do is rebuild it with fresh mortar. But if you are looking for a sturdier option then use concrete instead of fresh mortar. Make sure to clean that loose material with a hammer and chisel. Brush away dust, and dampen the area before applying the patch.
