Water on drill bits

One thing I learned by working side by side with good people is the drilling part. You have to ALWAYS use water to lubricate and cool the drill bit and the tile surface when drilling. I'm telling you I was about to quit my job good thing I got a good mentor. A small sponge or water bottle squirt can drastically extend the life of your tile bits and prevent the tile from cracking due due to heat stress. Really cool.
 
It is amazing how a simple step makes a huge difference. Imagine how just putting water on the tile while drilling helps a lot. It keeps the drill bit cool and lowers the risk of cracks from heat.
