I am considering a career change into the trades and I am looking at cement masonry. This path would start with a formal apprenticeship to learn the skills. I know the work involves a lot of manual labor and I want to know if it is too hard on the body over time. Some people say it is a great career with steady pay but others worry about the physical toll. I am trying to decide if this trade is a good long term choice for me. It seems like a solid way to build something real and I want to hear from people already doing the job. Checking with you guys if it’s worth it.
