Help me decide!

I need to do some maintenance on my chimney and im having a hard time deciding whats best to do. I keep forgetting to take pic of it for reference so i just got one from google that looks similar, so here it looks a bit like this but the mortar is much worse in some parts its almost all over the bricks. so chimney repointing is it or just rebuild?

Honestly man, by looking at its shape, I think you should rebuild it. so it can look new and nice
